Linda Wasmer Andrews
I'm a Milwaukee-based freelance writer with a master's degree in health psychology and a passion for walking. Over the past 37 years, I have penned thousands of articles for major websites, national magazines, and popular newsletters. Currently, I blog about Minding the Body for Psychology Today. I also write frequently for StayWell and other wellness content providers.
At times, I partner directly with brands, such as Mattress Firm and Philips Sleep and Respiratory Care, to create health and well-being content that engages the audiences they want to reach.
In addition, I'm author or coauthor of 15 books for readers of all ages. The most recent is If Your Adolescent Has ADHD: An Essential Resource for Parents, published in 2018 by Oxford University Press in collaboration with The Annenberg Public Policy Center. If you're the parent of a tween, teen, or young adult with ADHD, this is the book you've been waiting for.
When I'm not writing, I am often walking. Over the years, I have found that, if I am stuck for ideas, walking helps shake them loose. Psychological research backs up my observation — and reporting on that science is the mission of this site.
